I need a router! Urgent!

Am nevoie de un router si azi s-au intamplat prea multe concidente, cum ar fi concursul organizat de swamp si PChost. Cine stie?! Poate e un semn ca s-ar putea sa am noroc. Da, particip! Tot ce trebuie sa fac e sa scriu un mic review pentru unul dintre cele doua produse pe care ei le ofera ca premii.

Am ales sa scriu despre Routerul Trendnet TEW-432BRP (normal, nu?).

In ziua de azi, din ce in ce mai multi utilizatori de internet incep sa renunte la firele clasice si se orienteaza catre retele wireless. In acest caz, un router wireless bun si rapid este un “must have”. Stiti cum e : dai un ban in plus, dar face! Ei bine, in acest caz eu zic ca raportul pret calitate este destul de bun. De unde stiu eu calitatea acestui router ? Pentru ca am cativa prieteni care mi-au vorbit despre el chiar inainte de a scrie acest articol.

Am incercat sa aflu de la ei avantajele si dezavantajele folosirii acestui router :

Avantaje :
- se instaleaza foarte usor;
- este ieftin (sub 1 milion);
- raportul pret/calitate este foarte bun;
- se poate folosi ca wireless access point pentru mai mult de 3 calculatoare;
- vine cu wireless USB key si cablu LAN;
- interfata utlizatorului este foarte placuta;
- 4 porturi;

Dezavantaje :
- nu este ideal pentru transfer de fisiere;
- nu este recomandat pentru utilizatorii de internet prin cablu;
- viteza de conectare este destul de mica;
- se mai deconecteaza din cand in cand;
- se incalzeste foarte repede;
- semnalul wireless este slab;

Ce m-a surprins a fost faptul ca unul dintre cei cu care vorbeam mi-a spus urmatorul lucru “cum pot sa ma plang de ceva ce e aproape gratis ? Primesti ce platesti!” Interesant.
